OK, I ne'er believed I would be sending in a tale about a rottweiler, since I am more of a "cat- person," but here's one I find rather amusing.
We have been wedded for nearly 30 years now and have owned every type of dog possible. We have always wanted a rottweiler dog, but when the kids came along, we could never seem to scrape enough money together to buy one.
I have been doing work happily all my life but one day awoke and determined enough was enough and determined early retirement was the only way forward, so I determined to buy Stephen a rotweiler to keep him company out on the road.
From the starting one of our rottweilers Sandy sat in the front seat with Stephen so he could get used to the truck as the long jaunts ahead on the road would be a lot more difficult than the shorter ones.
Sandy shortly let Stephen know that spending so much time in a truck did nothing for him and he required these long jaunts over sooner rather than later.
Every Friday evening when Stephen returns home, one of our rottweiler puppies Sandy is so excited to see him that he can hardly get in the door. As any dog owner knows, they seem to excite very easily .
One thing that we ne'er coached her to do, but she grasped on her own is, when Stephen goes in the sitting room to sit down and relax, one of us will say, "Sandy, give Stephen big kisses," and she'll climb up on the top of the lounge, run over to him, then climb down on his chest to lick his face..
You should look what Sandy does when other people arrive over to the home. She likes to make a quiet whimpering noise dissembling that something is wrong, we all know she is just messing . When I have a bit more time I will surely send you in some unique stories about Sandy.
