Finding
the perfect gift: we'll give you a couple of ideas over
the next few months of what it takes to find the perfect
gift
Who are you giving the gift to? Is it your Aunt, Wife,
Sister, Brother, Father, Mother, Nephew, Boss, Boss'
Wife, Co-worker? This is a very important aspect of gift
giving. You don't want to give your Boss' wife a slinky
negligee' or your wife a frying pan (unless she very
specifically asked for it). That just doesn't work. Try
not to give your co-workers a gift that is too personal
- save that for close friends and family members. And
remember that it isn't the gift that matters - it is the
thought and intention that count.
What is the occasion? Is it a birthday, Christmas,
Mother's Day, Father's Day, Baptism, Wedding, etc? You
will need to get something that is appropriate for the
occasion. Don't get jelly beans for your niece's
birthday in July just because it was on sale. She will
see right through it. Try to find something that is
applicable for the occasion, and make it memorable.
