The Practical
Approach: 5 Gifts Your Kids Will Love
Birthdays, holidays, and special events all call for great gifts
for the kids in your life. And that can get expensive if you don't
take a practical approach to gift giving. Here's a list of five
gifts that'll be a huge hit that also do double duty.
Art supplies: Kids love to create,
so giving a selection of stickers, markers, chalk, stamps, and
more will be met with enthusiasm. Plus, these art supplies do
double duty as school project supplies.
A tool kit can be a great way to
lure older boys into helping around the house. He'll have fun
hammering away, and you'll get that wobbly old table leg
re-attached.
Beading supplies for girls can be
the perfect rainy day activity for older girls, plus she'll be
able to create great gifts for her friends at no extra cost to
you.
Baking supplies can help that
budding chef create easy-to-bake cookies and cakes. And your
family will wind up with dessert in the process!
Gardening supplies will give that
nature lover the inspiration to blossom, plus, if you group the
seeds around a common theme (vegetables, cutting flowers, herbs),
your green thumbed kid will wind up with a selection of plants to
enjoy, too.
